The top two teams in Class 3A from 2013 are back at state in 2014 as Bondurant-Farrar will defend its title and Clarke will look to move past second place. But the top-ranked team of 2014 will only be a spectator this year. Mid-Prairie advances to Fort Dodge with the win Monday night.
The first tourney games will be played Monday and finish Friday at 2:30p. You can watch the finals on Iowa Public Television or online at www.IPTV.org. I will have the call of the game with Laura Leonard.
Here are some first blush notes with strong support from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
